What the platform is built to handle
Business-facing government services
These are the business transactions NexBayan is designed to support. What a business can actually do online depends on the services its own LGU has set up — this page describes the capability, not a guarantee of availability in any particular city, municipality or barangay.
Business permit transactions
Designed to support applications and renewals for the business permits and clearances an LGU chooses to offer online, with the steps laid out before you start.
Requirements submission
Designed to let you send supporting documents ahead of time, so staff can check them before your visit and flag anything missing while there is still time to fix it.
Fees and payments
Fees can be shown up front, and online payment can be configured where an LGU has arranged it. Many offices still collect at the counter, and the page will say so.
Transaction tracking
Each submission is designed to carry a reference number and a visible status, so you can check where an application stands instead of following up by phone.
Some steps still happen in person
Business transactions often involve an inspection, an in-person identity or signature check, the release of a physical permit, or payment at a counter. NexBayan does not remove those requirements, and it should not be read as making every business transaction finish online. The aim is narrower and more honest: handle the paperwork that can be handled ahead of time, so the visit that remains is shorter and better prepared. You can see how a request moves end to end.

Each of these will be described as available only once it actually is, and even then it will depend on what each LGU decides to enable for its own community.
